An opportunity has arisen at Oasis Academy Hadley for a Casual Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.
As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.
You will have the opportunity to join a committed team of support staff, taking pride in upholding high standards to ensure all staff can enjoy working within a safe and clean environment, with training opportunities available and the ability to make a positive difference within the overall team.
Salary: £15.93 per hour plus Local Government Pension Scheme.
Working Pattern: As and when basis as agreed with the Site Team Manager. (Casual)
Responsibilities:
- Undertake general cleaning duties
- Maintain cleanliness and security of school classrooms and site (in line with security policies)
- Manage supplies of cleaning materials
- Work with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management
Qualifications:
- Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
- Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school
- Aware of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young people
