As a Primary Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences
- Work closely with pupils, including those with SEN
- Provide in-class support, small group work and one-to-one interventions
- Help promote pupils' wellbeing, independence and confidence
- Support learning activities, behaviour, and inclusion across the primary phase
- Participate fully in academy life, including training days, trips and professional development
- Undertake a specialist Teaching Assistant apprenticeship alongside your role
- Provide classroom cover when required and play an active part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Qualifications:
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and equal opportunities
- willingness to work towards a Teaching Assistant qualification
