Location: Oasis Academy Enfield, a ten‑minute walk from Enfield Lock train station.

Hours & Contract:

  • Hours: as and when required
  • Contract: Casual
  • Pay: £30 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high‑quality guitar tuition and prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity Rock & Pop Music Examinations across all grades.
  • Collaborate with the music department to plan and present academy ensembles, productions and concerts.
  • Encourage student engagement and encourage wider participation in music‑making activities.
  • Assist with running extra‑curricular ensembles where possible.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Extensive experience teaching guitar and preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity exams.
  • Enthusiastic, inspirational, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
  • Fluent spoken English (required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people; willingness to undergo enhanced Disclosure and Barring checks.
  • Availability to teach on a part‑time, peripatetic basis as required.
