Oasis Academy Don Valley is currently looking for a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant for our Secondary phase to support teaching staff and help deliver educational provision for learners.

Job overview:

  • You’ll assist with planning, preparing, and delivering lesson provision for whole class and individuals, preparing resources, supporting pastoral care, and evaluating student progress.
  • You’ll provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure learning needs are met.

Job requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs at C/4+ grade or above, including English and Maths.
  • Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
  • Experience in class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with teaching staff.
  • Empathetic and understanding of students’ needs.
