You'll be one of the first people our students and community may interact with and you can really help set the tone for our students' days. A smile and a kind word can make all the difference!
This is a term time plus 2 role, meaning this is ideal for someone with a family to support during school holidays or ideal for someone who wants to travel or explore other hobbies and interests over holidays. About our Administration Assistant Role:
No two days are the same! As mentioned above you'll often be the first interaction with parents/local community. You'll be understanding of the challenges parents/community may be having whilst upholding the expectations we have. We can't talk about a role in education without mentioning our students; our pupils are lovely and you might be one of the first friendly and supportive faces some of our students see. You'll get to know and learn about them, likely learning lots of interesting things and you'll be key in making sure our students are where they should be, that support is sorted where needed and that ultimately they are safe.
Alongside this you'll undertake tasks you may expect of an administration assistant. You'll be key to supporting our senior leaders and staff fulfil their roles. This may include things such as supporting with uploads on our website, managing social media accounts, newsletters, supporting with trip organisation alongside maintaining accurate records and filing.
About Boulton Academy:
You’ll be joining an academy with great facilities and outdoor space, access to community hub (who we work closely with supporting families and communities) and where every child has their own iPad.
What will you get in return?
- Pay Scale SCP4 - SCP8, £19,028 - £20,266 pro rata

Key Information:
- Term time only + 2 weeks (worked over the course of the year)
- 37 hours per week
- 08.00am to 16.00 (16:30 on Wednesday)
