Fancy helping to shape the future of FinTech? We are looking for a CASS Compliance Coordinator to join our global Finance & Accounting team. You will report to the European Controller & Regulatory Reporting Manager and take ownership of daily Client money reconciliations, safeguarding client assets in full compliance with FCA regulations. The role is hybrid - we would love to meet you in the office 2-3 days a week while respecting your own commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the CASS daily client money reconciliations, proactively identifying and escalating any emerging risks or discrepancies.
  • Assist with the oversight and due diligence of Third Party Agreements (TPA) to ensure adequate systems and controls are in place to support CASS compliance, while actively flagging potential risks.
  • Maintain an up-to-date log of CASS breaches/incidents and complete initial materiality assessments on all CASS breaches to identify those reportable to the FCA.
  • Manage CASS regulatory reporting and compliance governance, including the accurate preparation of the monthly CMAR return and the regular review of internal policies and procedures (including periodic reviews of CASS Resolution packs).
  • Assist the UK Financial Controller with preparing monthly CASS MI for the Risk Committee and Board meetings.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties/responsibilities and special projects as required to support the Finance Department.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of CASS requirements through attendance at industry forums and training events.

Qualifications

  • Min. 3 years of experience within a similar role in Financial Services.
  • Demonstrate good understanding of the CASS Handbook as it applies to trading firms.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively – set clear priorities, manage workloads and stay focused under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Willingness to be flexible according to current demands of the team and organization.

  • Previous experience within a trading or brokerage environment.
