We now have an exciting opportunity for a Technical full-time role in our established Technical Crew to assist in maintaining and improving the siteβs Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with BRCGS Food Safety requirements, customer specifications, and internal quality standards. The Technical Crew supports routine quality checks, documentation, audits, and continuous improvement activities to ensure product safety, legality, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Record, review, and verify technical data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Report any non-conformances or deviations to the Technical Compliance Crew Lead promptly.
- Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness.
Technical / Quality System Support
- Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and related documentation (procedures, forms, specifications, etc.).
- Support internal and external audits (BRCGS, customer, supplier, and regulatory).
- Help in updating and controlling document versions in accordance with site procedures.
- Participate in traceability exercises, mock recalls, and internal audits as required.
- Support the approval and monitoring of raw materials, packaging, and suppliers.
- Supporting Health and Safety requirements of the business
Compliance and Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with BRCGS Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, and customer standards.
- Support environmental, hygiene, and allergen monitoring programs.
- Assist in training production staff on quality and hygiene requirements.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of quality systems (BRCGS, HACCP desirable).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
