OAL is looking for a Trainer – Automation Systems to help customers successfully adopt and gain value from our automation solutions across the food manufacturing sector. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role where you will work directly within live production environments, helping operators, supervisors, and site teams use OAL systems confidently and effectively. If you enjoy working with people, solving problems, and helping customers succeed in real‑world manufacturing environments, this role offers a unique opportunity to combine training, customer engagement, and operational improvement within a growing automation business.

What you will be doing

  • System adoption and value delivery: Support customers in using OAL systems effectively within live production environments, ensuring systems deliver measurable operational value and become embedded within day‑to‑day processes. Validate that systems are being used correctly and consistently, identify gaps between system capability and actual usage, and help customers maximise performance and reliability.
  • Customer engagement and relationship management: Act as the primary customer contact during the adoption phase following project delivery. Build trusted relationships with production, technical, quality, and management teams while maintaining ownership of customer outcomes and ensuring a positive customer experience. Lead structured post‑installation reviews and help customers achieve their operational objectives.
  • Training and capability development: Deliver practical, hands‑on training that helps operators and users become competent and confident with OAL systems.
  • Operational performance and compliance: Support customers in maintaining compliance, audit readiness, and operational consistency.
  • Continuous improvement and expansion opportunities: Identify process improvements, operational efficiencies, and automation opportunities during customer engagements.
  • Product and engineering feedback: Gather feedback from customers, identify recurring usability challenges, and provide valuable insight to engineering and product teams to support future improvements. Support the testing and validation of system enhancements and contribute to the continuous improvement of OAL solutions.
