Every project at OAL moves through a delivery cycle: planning, build, installation, commissioning, customer training, and handover. As Project Coordinator, you help keep that cycle running smoothly. Some weeks will focus on planning upcoming installations, preparing documentation, and coordinating resources. Other weeks will involve supporting live projects, tracking milestones, communicating with customers and suppliers, and helping resolve issues to keep delivery on schedule.

What you will be doing:

  • Project coordination – Coordinate schedules, activities, and milestones across multiple automation projects to support successful delivery.
  • Planning and documentation – Prepare and distribute project documentation including programmes, drawings, RAMS, and site safety information.
  • Resource and logistics planning – Coordinate labour, equipment, travel, and logistics for installation, commissioning, and customer training activities.
  • Project tracking – Monitor project progress, maintain delivery timelines, and support issue resolution to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Customer communication – Act as a key point of contact for customers during project planning and delivery activities, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration – Support communication between customers, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment across all project stages.
  • Site delivery support – Assist with installation, commissioning, SAT sign‑off, customer handover activities, and the transition into aftercare and support.
  • Project administration – Maintain accurate project records, documentation, schedules, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Health and safety support – Support safe working practices and compliance with customer and OAL standards across office and site‑based activities.

What we are looking for:

  • Organisation and coordination skills – Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects progressing effectively.
  • Communication skills – Confident communicating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and engineering teams.
  • Project delivery awareness – Understanding of project delivery processes, scheduling, documentation, and project tracking.

  • Health and safety awareness – Understanding of health and safety processes and RAMS documentation would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence – Required for occasional site visits and project support activities.
