Accounts Assistant

Location: Hereford, HR4 7PU
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Excellent Benefits!
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are now recruiting for an Accounts Assistant who is passionate about finance and ready for a new challenge.

What you\’ll be doing as our Accounts Assistant:

This role is about more than just crunching numbers, this is a role where you will get hands on experience across a variety of finance tasks, helping to keep our business running smoothly and efficiently:

  • Supporting accounts payable and receivable tasks
  • Reconciling supplier and credit card statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Posting journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
  • Ensuring accurate coding and allocation of expenses
  • Processing employee expense claims in line with company policy
  • Assisting with ledger analysis and budget planning
  • Performing stock reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Month-end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Gaining exposure to a variety of finance tasks and projects that will grow your skills and confidence
