Are you a reliable and caring driver looking to give back to your community? We are currently seeking a Volunteer Transport Driver to provide door-to-door transport for service users with learning disabilities and complex needs attending our respite care home. Your role will be essential in helping individuals access support, maintain independence, and stay connected with the care they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely collect service users from their homes and transport them to the care home
  • Drop service users back home at the end of their visit
  • Ensure the comfort, dignity, and safety of passengers at all times (Service Users will also be accompanied by support workers)
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with service users
  • Communicate any concerns to the care team promptly
Requirements
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • A friendly, patient, and professional manner
  • Reliability and good time management
  • Willingness to undergo:
    • A Right to Work check (as required by UK law)
    • A Full Enhanced DBS Check (provided at no cost)
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential
