Oakwood Veterinary Referrals are looking for an additional surgical specialist colleague to join their team. We are looking for a clinician, who is at heart a caring person, who wishes to provide the highest standards of care for their patients. A team player who will establish themselves as an integral part of the Oakwood team, supporting the future development of the practice.

Our ideal candidate would be a board‑certified surgeon (ECVS/ACVS and or RCVS) with an interest in orthopaedic and spinal surgery to assist with the busy orthopaedic and spinal surgery service. We would also be interested in creating roles for a board‑certified orthopaedic surgeon with no spinal surgery interest, or a neurologist with no orthopaedic interest. Whilst orthopaedic caseload is greatest, an interest in soft tissue surgery would be welcome and an opportunity to re‑establish our soft tissue surgery service. Board eligible surgeons would also be welcome to apply for this position.

In return, we offer a generous remuneration based on experience. Oakwood veterinary referrals is a busy, specialist led referral practice. We have onsite MRI and CT. Located in Hartford, Cheshire it we have easy access to Wales, The Lake District, Chester, and Manchester.
