Job Title: Clinical Negligence Solicitor/Fee Earner

Reporting to: Head of Department

Award winning North Leeds Firm is looking for a Solicitor/Fee Earner with experience in dealing with Claimant Clinical Negligence matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven and motivated candidate to be involved with the expansion of our Clinical Negligence department.

Key Tasks

  • Handling a variety of clinical negligence claims from inception to settlement, including both pre and post litigation claims.
  • Excellent understanding of CPR Rules and The Pre-Action Protocol for the Resolution of Clinical Disputes
  • Experience in handling a variety of complex clinical negligence claims from inception to completion.
  • Experience of working to targets and KPIs.
  • Experience using Proclaim database is preferable.
  • Training junior staff members in handling clinical negligence claims
  • Working with marketing to expand the department.

Experience

  • 2 years + experience in handling Claimant Clinical Negligence claims is essential.
  • Excellent client care
  • Excellent communication and literacy skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time- management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
