Award-winning North Leeds Firm is looking for a Solicitor/Fee Earner with experience in dealing with Claimant Clinical Negligence matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven and motivated candidate to be involved with the expansion of our Clinical Negligence department.
Key Tasks
- Handling a variety of clinical negligence claims from inception to settlement, including both pre and post litigation claims.
Essential Knowledge
- Litigation experience is essential to this role.
- Excellent understanding of CPR Rules and The Pre-Action Protocol for the Resolution of Clinical Disputes.
- Experience in handling a variety of complex clinical negligence claims from inception to completion.
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- Experience of working to targets and KPIs.
Desirable Knowledge
- Experience using Proclaim database is preferable.
- Training junior staff members in handling clinical negligence claims.
- Working with marketing to expand the department.
Experience
- 2 years+ experience in handling Claimant Clinical Negligence claims is essential.
