We're partnering with an innovative UK technology company that has developed a market-leading authentication platform used to protect products and brands from counterfeiting. Having successfully commercialised technology originating from world-class research, the business is now entering an exciting growth phase with customers and partners operating globally. To support this expansion, they are seeking their first Technical Implementation Lead to establish and scale a customer onboarding and deployment function.
The Role
As Senior Applications Engineer, you will take ownership of customer onboarding and deployment activities, ensuring customers can successfully implement and scale the company's technology within their production environments. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting across hardware & software as well as integrations. You will act as the bridge between customers, software teams, product specialists, and manufacturing operations, helping translate customer requirements into practical implementation plans and successful outcomes. Alongside supporting customer deployments, you will define and improve onboarding processes, create repeatable frameworks, and help establish a scalable implementation function as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer onboarding and implementation projects from initial engagement through to production deployment.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers during implementation.
- Understand customer workflows and identify integration requirements.
- Support software, SDK and API integration discussions.
- Collaborate with technical, product and manufacturing teams to resolve implementation challenges.
- Define and document scalable onboarding processes and best practices.
- Support customer trials, pilots and production rollouts.
- Travel internationally to customer and partner sites when required.
- Drive continuous improvement of onboarding and implementation activities.
