An innovative deep-tech company developing advanced authentication and anti-counterfeit solutions is looking for a Senior Applications Engineer to lead customer deployments from initial trials through to live production environments. This is a highly visible role with real ownership, sitting at the intersection of software, hardware, manufacturing and customer delivery. You’ll work closely with commercial, engineering and operational teams to ensure successful implementations across complex real-world environments.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead customer trials, onboarding and production rollouts
  • Act as the senior technical lead during pre-sales and implementation phases
  • Integrate technology into customer systems and operational workflows
  • Troubleshoot across hardware, software and manufacturing environments
  • Build scalable delivery processes, tools and implementation playbooks
  • Support and train customer teams for successful production adoption
  • Feed implementation learnings back into product and engineering teams

  • Strong Applications, Field, Solutions or Implementation Engineering background
  • Experience delivering solutions involving both hardware and software
  • Knowledge of APIs, mobile applications, cloud systems or integrations

  • Able to travel regularly to customer sites in the UK and internationally
