Role Purpose
We are looking for experienced Casual Audio Visual (AV) Technicians to join our Venue Production team. You’ll play a vital role in bringing world-class events to life, from live concerts to premium experiences by delivering exceptional audio-visual support across our venue.
You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV systems, ensuring seamless technical delivery for artists, clients, and fans. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced live environment, with strong technical knowledge and a collaborative, can-do attitude.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for live events, conferences, and premium events.
- Carry out sound checks and ensure high-quality audio performance throughout shows.
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly under pressure.
- Support premium area setups and assist the wider Venue Production team on event days.
- Safely handle and store equipment, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Work closely with event organisers, Venue Managers, and clients to deliver flawless productions.
Salary
£15.00 to £20.00 per hour dependent on experience. This role is offered on a variable shift pattern, supporting our events; weekend and late evenings are required.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
What we’re looking for
- Proven live sound engineering experience in arenas, theatres, or large venues.
- Proficiency with digital & analog mixing consoles (Yamaha, Avid, DigiCo).
- Strong understanding of signal flow, wireless microphones & stage patching.
- A team player with great communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends & holidays.
Desirable, But Not Essential
- Qualification in audio engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of QLab, Dante, Waves, or Q-SYS.
- Experience in multi-use venues.
