About this Role
Working in our Acorns Nursery and under the guidance of the EYFS Assistant Headteacher you will be required to:
- Have a thorough understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework
- Ensure developmental needs are met within a framework of planned activities
- Provide EYFS Lead with information relevant to statutory 2 year old checks
- Actively monitor children's well-being fostering social and emotional growth
- Carry out observations in line with current policy, using them to inform planning
- Maintain records in line with EYFS Guidelines, local standards, Oaktree and Blue Kite Academy Trust policies and OFSTED requirements
- Liaise with school SENCo collecting and providing evidence where needed
- Participate in performance management
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children in the school
- Contribute to a nurturing, stimulating and challenging environment for all our children.

Job Details:
- This position is a permanent position.
- Working hours are 8.30 - 3.30 Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch - 32.5 hours per week
- The role is based on M grade, with pay dependent on experience
- The role is term time only - 39 working weeks 44.85 paid weeks.
