Oaktree Education Services is looking for an experienced and committed Deputy Manager within Supported Accommodation to join our growing organisation.

At Oaktree Supported Accommodation, we believe that every young person deserves a safe and stable foundation from which to build their adult life. The post holder will be responsible for managing and delivering their allocated duties and responsibilities, supporting the effective operation and development of the service, and helping to ensure that young people receive consistent, high-quality and individualised support.

The Project Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager, Head of Supported Accommodation and wider management team. As Oaktree Education Services continues to grow, the role may develop alongside the organisation and the needs of the service.

The Project Manager will be expected to demonstrate flexibility, take ownership of their responsibilities and contribute positively to the ongoing development and improvement of Oaktree Supported Accommodation.

  • Trauma-Informed and Person-centred approach.
  • Promote a calm, structured and supportive environment where young people feel respected, understood, safe and heard.
  • Recognise that every young person's needs and circumstances are different and support an approach that considers their practical, emotional, educational and social needs.
  • Work positively with local authorities, families, education providers, social workers, professionals and other relevant agencies to provide a coordinated approach to the young person's support.

The Project Manager will:

  • Take ownership of their allocated responsibilities and ensure that tasks and actions are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Support the effective day-to-day operation and development of the service.
  • Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and professional practice.
  • Support and guide staff within the service.
  • Identify concerns, risks or areas requiring improvement and raise these with the appropriate manager.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Supported Accommodation and wider management team.
  • Ensure Oaktree Education Services' policies, procedures and expectations are followed.
  • Keep the Operations Manager appropriately informed of significant issues, concerns, risks or areas requiring management intervention.
  • Support the ongoing development of the service as Oaktree Education Services grows.
  • Take on additional responsibilities or projects that are reasonably required to support the development and effective operation of the service.

The Operations Manager is accountable for the overall management, performance and outcomes of the Project Manager role and will provide direction, oversight and support as required.
