This is a 24 x 7 position (Location: Pasir Panjang Terminal(PSA) and HDB sites).
Requirements:
- End device (e.g. Readers) installation methodologies and Maintenance Process.
- Participate in maintenance and implementation of project works.
- Troubleshooting and replacement of faulty electronics parts.
- Manage maintenance sites and carry out PM (Central Equipment) maintenance tasks according to schedule.
- Attend to CM services when requested by clients, within response time and system turnaround time.
- Ensure systems are functional and operations are smooth.
- Assist clients in daily operations when systems are unavailable.
- Attend to client queries and requests.
- Provide quotations for adhoc service requests/VO work not within maintenance contract (Optional).
- Carry out A&A work/VO work for sites during maintenance cycle.
- Able to read construction drawings including Architectural layout, Combined services drawings, Penetration requirement drawings, Electrical and Security line drawings (Preferred).
- Plan and design cable routing and equipment shop drawings as well as updating Installation Drawings for as-built production (optional).
- Able to co-ordinate site and installation issues with Consultant, User and other Contractors.
- Conduct Testing and Commissioning with Consultant, User and other Contractors.
- Perform software patches/updates to the system when necessary, with guidance from Senior Engineer.
- Regular updates to clients for maintenance status.
- Support Contract administration works (reports, ordering, billing milestone, O&M submission, Operation Manual submission, maintenance checklist etc).
- Manage sub-contractor work schedule and quality of work.
- Understanding maintenance and project cycle.
- Possess good initiative and strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge in Project Management Software such as Microsoft Project (optional).
- Familiarity with Industrial Code Of Practice (CP Standard & WSH (Work At Height & Safety) (Preferred).
- Familiarity with Site Installation Approach Methodology.
- Customer intimacy skills.
- Cost budgeting knowledge.
- Technical writing skills.
- Able to troubleshoot faults, analyse and resolve faults.
- Good knowledge in network and system maintenance and troubleshooting.
Education:
- ITE/Diploma/Degree in E&E/Infocom/Computer Science/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering.
- Preferably with more than 2 years’ experience in relevant system implementation.
