About the Role:

Based at Hunloke Park Primary School, S42 6PT, this role focuses mainly on cleaning and hygiene duties, alongside some light maintenance and compliance responsibilities. You will work split shifts, 06:00 to 09:00 and 15:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, 42 weeks per year, paid at £12.61 per hour. You will play a key role in ensuring the school site remains clean, safe, compliant and well maintained.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out daily cleaning duties across the school site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Supporting the safe and secure operation of the building
  • Undertaking light maintenance tasks such as small painting jobs, minor repairs and putting up bulletin boards and displays
  • Completing basic facilities compliance duties including fire alarm tests, water temperature checks and legionella testing
  • Setting up rooms and areas as required
  • Carrying out basic health and safety checks and reporting issues appropriately
  • Monitoring site supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment
  • Demonstrating health and safety awareness and a willingness to attend training courses, all training will be provided
