Shropshire Council is seeking an experienced Senior Data & Reporting Analyst to support Adult Services through high-quality data analysis and reporting on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking Insight Team and play a key role in driving data-led decision making, supporting service transformation, and improving outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver interactive reports, dashboards, and analytics for Adult Services
- Provide insight to support service design, transformation programmes, and strategic decisions
- Support key initiatives including Adult front door transformation, forecasting, and demand modelling
- Automate reporting processes and enhance data accessibility and self-service reporting
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide expert analysis and insight
- Support CQC inspections and peer review preparations
- Monitor and improve data quality and governance standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on insight-led projects
About You
- Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
- Public sector or Adult Social Care experience (desirable)
- Experience using reporting and data visualisation tools
- Strong analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams
