About the Role: Based at Bedgebury Café, Goudhurst, Kent, TN17 2SJ, you will be working 37.5 hours a week (working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis). The shift times will be 8:00am - 4:00pm. You'll play a key role in preparing and serving meals to a high standard while ensuring food safety and hygiene regulations are followed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Food preparation: handling day-to-day duties and ensuring dishes meet site standards.
  • Cooking and service: managing your station and delivering food on time.
  • Safety and hygiene: following best practices with equipment, utensils, and food storage.
  • Stock management: keeping ingredients fresh and reordering stock when supplies run low.
  • Teamwork: collaborating with the culinary team to maintain quality and service throughout the shift.

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven chef experience.
  • Level 2 Catering & Hospitality qualification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of cooking methods and processes, with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Food hygiene certification at Level 2 (desirable).
