Are you passionate about caretaking, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Relief Cleaner to join our Facilities Team.

About the Role:
Based at Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, DE22 1JD, you will be working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3.30pm - 5.30pm, 39 weeks per year with some holiday cleaning. You'll play a key role in providing high-quality cleaning services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
- Wiping down tables and surfaces
- General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
- Hoovering and mopping floors
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
Who are we looking for?
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
- Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting
- A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
- The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
- The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
