About the Role:
Based at St Mary's Catholic Academy, SK22 3BL, you will be working 12 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 3:36pm to 6:00pm.
Travel time and mileage allowance paid
You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring the environment is clean, safe, and welcoming while consistently meeting our expectations and delighting our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
- Wiping down tables and surfaces
- General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
- Hoovering and mopping floors
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
Who are we looking for?
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
- Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting
- A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
- The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
- The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
