Location: Onsite, Monday to Friday at Clean & Green Depot, Brownhills, WS8 7EN.
Working Hours: 10am - 6pm with 30 minutes unpaid break.
Duration: Temporary basis, 6 weeks with potential to extend.
This role is central to supporting the smooth operation of Fleet Services, including workshop management, MOT testing, driver compliance, third-party contractors, and customer relations. You will play a key role in ensuring fleet compliance, operational efficiency, and excellent service delivery across the council and Clean & Green operations.
This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in administration, with a strong focus on data entry and compliance support within a busy operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Fleet team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Collecting and logging keys for vehicles returned to the depot
- Monitoring and recording vehicle usage and defects
- Assisting with tachograph data tracking and compliance records
- Maintaining accurate data across systems and spreadsheets
- Supporting general fleet compliance and operational processes
Essential Experience:
- Able to commit to the 10am - 6pm shift, Monday to Friday
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-focused environment
