We are currently seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to assist with the smooth and efficient administration of all public and internal examinations. The role is important in ensuring the integrity and security of exam papers is maintained and all procedures are followed, within strict regulations governed by JCQ (Joint Council of Qualifications).

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Whilst experience is preferred, full training will be given to the successful candidates.
  • Must be reliable, punctual and readily available for public and internal exams throughout the academic year.
  • Flexibility is paramount.

Remuneration

The invigilator role is on an ad hoc, casual basis and the hourly rate of pay will be £13.77. Hours of work will vary depending on the requirements of the exam sessions and will be agreed in advance of exams commencing.

Oaks Park High School is a very popular and oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school located in the London Borough of Redbridge, with very good transport links. Newbury Park station (zone 4 on the Central Line) is only a four minute walk away.

Oaks Park High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). It will be necessary to provide at least 3 forms of ID evidence and all original qualification certificates as stated on your application form.
