The Role
We are seeking someone who can be a pillar of the community—building bridges between Glynn Court and the local area, ensuring residents remain active, stimulated, and socially connected. This is a role for someone who enjoys talking to people, organising events, and forming meaningful partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Build links with local groups, schools, churches, hobby clubs, and community organisations
- Arrange visits, regular activities, and seasonal events within the home
- Support residents to maintain strong community identity, without needing to travel far
- Bring fresh ideas to stimulate conversation, laughter, creativity, music, movement, culture, and companionship
- Help position Glynn Court as a lively hub where the community wants to be involved
- Contribute to creating a warm environment that may also attract new residents over time
Who We’re Looking For:
- Is friendly, confident, and comfortable meeting new people
- Has a good understanding of community life and enjoys being involved in it
