Care Home Manager in Totland

We currently operate four care homes; three on the Isle of Wight and one in Fordingbridge, New Forest.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager for our 32‑bed home situated at Totland Bay, Isle of Wight. Little Hayes Care Home is rated Good in all areas by the CQC and is a family business dedicated to the highest quality care to ensure residents lead fulfilling lives in their golden years. Our staff are dedicated and passionate, creating a real sense of community within the home. Residents are taken on local trips, invited for visits from local school children who sing, and enjoy themed days such as Red Nose Day and Children in Need.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a care team
• Ensure top‑quality, person‑centred care
• Maintain compliance with regulations (CQC)
• Create a safe, homely environment
• Develop and train staff
• Manage budgets efficiently
• Engage with families and communities
• Ensure health and safety

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Senior management experience in elderly care
• Familiarity with CQC regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Genuine passion for elderly care
