OakRay Care is a family run business on the Isle of Wight and the New Forest, specialising in the provision of residential care for the elderly. We run high-quality care homes and are committed to making a positive difference to our residents, in every way. We currently operate four care homes; three on the Isle of Wight and one in Fordingbridge, in the New Forest. Our most important asset is our staff, so we always look for individuals who want to make an impact and positive difference on those around them.

We have exciting opportunities for Senior Care Assistants to join our friendly, supportive team at our Ryde care home. Fairhaven Care Home provides high quality residential and dementia care services for up to 21 elderly residents, and has a CQC rating of Good.

Skills and abilities required:

  • You must have a minimum NVQ2 in Health & Social Care
  • Be able to administer and record medication
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Good communication skills
