Healthcare Assistants support the daily activities of residents with a person-centred approach at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and meals.
- Be respectful, courteous and compassionate, and willing to undertake various aspects of care.
- Provide care with care and kindness during activities such as accompanying a resident to appointments, completing care plan documents, helping with showers, reading to residents, or assisting with meals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Compassionate and understanding with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Some basic IT skills.
- A full induction programme and training is provided.

Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly, supportive team at our Fordingbridge care home. Glynn Court Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 31 people over the age of 65, some of whom are living with dementia or physical health needs, and has been rated Good by the CQC.
Employment Details
A competitive salary is offered, which will be discussed at the interview. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for day and night Healthcare Assistants.
