The role involves owning customer acquisition and growth for OakNorth Business Banking, driving deposit volumes, account opening, and activation. It requires collaboration with multiple teams and leading go-to-market execution for an expanding product suite.
What you'll be doing:
- Growth and acquisition: Own Business Banking acquisition across all marketing-attributed channels, define and own the channel mix strategy, work with channel owners to align strategies, own outbound targeting strategy, landing page strategy, monitor funnel drop-off, develop sector-specific messaging, experiment with new channels, and track acquisition performance.
- Product and feature GTM: Own go-to-market execution for product launches, lead acquisition campaigns, coordinate cross-functionally for each release, and brief the content and design teams on launch assets.
- Commercial enablement and BD alignment: Act as the dedicated marketing resource for the Commercial team, produce materials for the BD team, ensure consistent messaging, feed conversion data back into campaign decisions, and support events.
- Lifecycle, activation, and retention: Design and run lifecycle campaigns, develop segment-specific activation sequences, and work with Product on in-app activation nudges.
- Commercial programmes and partnerships: Identify and scale commercial programmes, own end-to-end performance of growth programmes, build scalable referral infrastructure, and manage partnership channels.
- Performance, reporting, and compliance: Coordinate reporting, maintain performance dashboards, apply compliance constraints, and ensure campaign copy is compliant.
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years in growth or performance marketing; at least 2 years with direct ownership of B2B acquisition targets.
- Proven track record of moving acquisition numbers.
- Hands-on experience across various marketing channels.
- Experience in a regulated environment.
- Strong commercial judgment and data literacy.
Desirable:
