We’re looking for a Content Marketer to lead OakNorth’s organic content strategy across Lending, Business Banking and Personal Savings. This is a growth-oriented content role, suited to someone who combines strong editorial judgement with a commercial mindset. You will create high-quality, search-led and insight-driven content that attracts, educates and converts customers over time.

  • Identify high-impact content opportunities using SEO insights, customer research, commercial priorities and AI-assisted analysis of search intent and content gaps
  • Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate research, generate structured first drafts, refine clarity, and optimise existing content while maintaining strong editorial oversight and regulatory accuracy
  • Continuously test and improve content performance using data, AI-supported optimisation techniques and structured experimentation
  • Work with cross-product subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, insightful and customer-focused
  • Identify content opportunities based on customer questions, market trends and commercial priorities
  • Plan and contribute to editorial themes and content calendars
  • Edit, refine and elevate content to maintain clarity, consistency and quality across channels

  • OakNorth being recognised as a trusted voice across lending, business banking and personal savings
  • A consistent pipeline of thoughtful, relevant content that supports growth and brand credibility
  • Strong collaboration with Product Marketing, Growth and Commercial teams to ensure content supports wider business goals

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a content writer, journalist or editorial lead, ideally covering complex or technical topics
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage and educate different audiences

  • Comfortable managing multiple pieces of content across different products and themes
  • Experience in fintech, financial services or B2B is a plus, but not essential
