Key Responsibilities
- Originate and structure Fund Finance transactions that meet OakNorth’s lending criteria
- Manage and develop existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the market
- Collaborate with the execution team on Fund Finance deals
- Enhance OakNorth’s market profile through engagement with SMEs, KBIs, advisors, and private equity firms
- Assess organic and inorganic growth opportunities for OakNorth Bank
- Prepare and analyze financial accounts, models, and credit memorandums
- Ensure transaction documentation complies with approved terms and credit sanctioning policies
- Meet team and individual targets for profit, credit quality, customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction
- Drive product innovation to improve customer experience while maintaining asset quality
- Maintain a strong focus on customer experience and OakNorth Bank values at all times
- Report to Credit in line with policy and provide full credit reports to sanctioning authorities
What We Are Looking For
- Deep knowledge of SME or Fund Finance banking environments
- Previous experience as a Fund Finance originator
- Background in front‑office and risk within SME commercial banking
- Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
- Understanding of business process strategy and credit policies
- Excellent credit financial analysis and modelling skills, including writing structured credit papers
- Experience analysing senior, stretched senior, and mezzanine cash‑flow secured or unsecured transactions
- Experience presenting credit cases to a credit committee
- Strong problem‑solving ability
- Degree in Finance, Commerce, or equivalent
