  • Proactively acquire new business banking customers through a variety of channels including, outbound calls and emails, responding to inbound enquiries, inviting prospects and existing customers to exclusive events, and driving ongoing engagement and account management with businesses in the OakNorth ecosystem.
  • Work with the Marketing and Commercial teams to identify opportunities, structure data, build processes and automation to increase productivity and relevance to our ICP.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc duties and projects as determined from time to time by members of the management team.
  • Work cross functionally with other relevant business departments by communicating valuable customer feedback and keeping them informed of customer issues and successes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales development KPIs.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and confident engaging senior stakeholders, including decision-makers and founders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently — this is the first hire into the team with plans for growth.
  • A start-up mindset: coachable, adaptable, proactive, and energized by a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Able to deliver high-quality work under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Comfortable using CRM and telephony systems; proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Eager to be part of one of the best-performing commercial banks globally and build a rewarding career.
  • An undergraduate degree or higher is preferred but not required.
