We’re now looking for an Associate Director to help drive growth in our Business Deposit Book. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in our commercial growth strategy – working directly with founders, CFOs, and finance teams to help provide them a better return on their deposits and build a relationship to support their business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Associate Director to lead growth in our Business Banking Deposits team. This is a commercially focused, high‑impact role working directly with scaling businesses to help them get a better return on their deposits – while building lasting relationships that support OakNorth’s broader lending mission.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Deposit Growth

  • Originate and convert new deposit opportunities from established and high‑growth businesses.
  • Utilise your existing network of businesses and introducers and be proactive in finding new opportunities through outbound calls and emails, converting referrals and attending events.
  • Share your knowledge of Commercial Banking to identify new areas of the market for OakNorth to target.
  • Work cross‑functionally with other relevant business departments by communicating valuable customer feedback and helping shape the future strategy of OakNorth Business Banking.

YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE…

  • Experience in Business or Commercial banking, ideally in roles with a deposit focus.
  • An established network within high‑growth and mid‑size businesses and associated introducers for these customers.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs.

  • Comfortable in a sales‑first environment and confident engaging senior stakeholders, including decision‑makers and founders.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently.
