Are you an experienced Early Years / Childcare professional looking to make your next career move? This is an opportunity not to be missed. This role is part time (20 hrs per week) and is a mix of remote home-based delivery, classroom delivery and observations in the workplace. You will be responsible for the delivery of Diploma and Apprenticeships in Childcare to a caseload of learners in the Dorset area.
The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Childcare sector. This could be Early Years, Teaching Assistant or Residential Childcare. You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and ideally a Teaching Qualification, along with some experience delivering diplomas/apprenticeships in Childcare.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving Childcare qualifications.
- Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Childcare training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to support them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
- Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates' progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
- A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.) desirable
- Teaching qualification (desirable)
- Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2 (desirable)
- L3 or L5 Childcare qualification
- A minimum of 5 years' occupational experience within a Childcare setting, ideally within a senior/management role
- Experience of working remotely
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
- Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle
