An opportunity to join an innovative and well-established training provider, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Trainer / Assessor to join their successful team.
You will be responsible for the delivery of Electrical short course qualifications to learners in a training centre in Southampton. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Electrical sector with experience in Electrical Installation within the Domestic & Commercial sectors.
You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent), a level 3 Electrical qualification along with the 2391 and 18th Edition qualifications. If you have your IQA qualification (or equivalent), it would be highly advantageous!

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train, motivate and support learners towards achieving short course electrical qualifications
- Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved electrical training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to support them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
- Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
- A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)
- Teaching qualification (desirable)
- L3 Electrical Installation qualification
- 2391 & 18th Edition qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' occupational experience within electrical installation
- Excellent communication skills
