Are you an experienced Early Years / Childcare professional looking to make your next career move? Recruiting on behalf of a training provider that is big on quality, which is reflected in their Ofsted grade, this is an opportunity not to be missed. This role is part time (20 hrs per week) and is a mix of remote home-based delivery, classroom delivery and observations in the workplace. You will be responsible for the delivery of Diploma and Apprenticeships in Childcare to a caseload of learners in the Dorset area. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Childcare sector. This could be Early Years, Teaching Assistant or Residential Childcare. Ideally you will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and ideally a Teaching Qualification. If not, training will be provided for the right candidate!

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving Childcare qualifications.
- Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Childcare training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to support them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
- Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
- A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.) desirable
- Teaching qualification (desirable)
- Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2 (desirable)
- L3 or L5 Childcare qualification
- A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within a Childcare setting, ideally within a senior/management role
- Experience of working remotely
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
- Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle
