Training Centre Manager

Rotherham | Β£43,000 per annum | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Are you an experienced education or training professional looking for your next leadership opportunity?

We are looking for a Training Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day quality and performance of a busy education and training provision in Rotherham, supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining staff management, teaching and learning, quality assurance and learner progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of tutors and education staff.
  • Drive high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Support staff through coaching, mentoring, lesson observations and CPD.
  • Monitor learner progress, engagement and outcomes.
  • Lead quality assurance and assessment processes.
  • Use data to identify improvements and drive better outcomes.
  • Deliver Functional Skills teaching where required.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop and improve the provision.
  • Promote an inclusive, positive and supportive learning environment.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • A Level 5+ teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths or English.
  • Experience working with post-16 learners, particularly those with SEND.
  • Experience leading, developing or supporting teaching staff.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance, assessment and learner progress.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and improving outcomes.Enhanced DBS clearance will be required for the successful applicant.
