An opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Assessor Tutor to join their successful team. Based from home, you will be responsible for the delivery of Diploma Health & Social Care qualifications to a caseload of learners in the North West area. No functional skills delivery!
The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Adult Health & Social Care sector. You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and ideally a Teaching Qualification.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Train, assess, motivate and support Health & Social Care learners on programmes towards achieving Health & Social Care qualifications.
- Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Health & Social Care training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to support them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
- Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)
- Teaching qualification (desirable)
- Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2
- L3 or L5 H&SC qualification
- A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within a Health & Social Care setting, ideally within a senior/management role
- Experience of working remotely
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
- Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle
