Are you an Early Years professional looking to become an Early Years Assessor? We have a trainee opportunity for someone with management experience in a nursery setting who is ready to take the next step into assessing Early Years apprenticeships. Recruiting on behalf of a training provider that is big on quality, which is reflected in their Ofsted grade, this is an opportunity not to be missed. The role is home based with learners located in Brentwood and the surrounding area.

Trainee Early Years Assessor: Salary and Expenses

  • The role is full-time, permanent
  • Mon-Fri, no unsociable hours or weekends
  • Home based and flexible working - manage your own diary
  • £28k - £29k starting salary - increases with experience/qualifications
  • Full travel expenses
  • 2 weeks paid leave at Christmas + 21 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

Purpose of the role:

You will be managing a caseload of Early Years apprenticeship learners (including Functional Skills), both remotely (via telephone, video, email) and visits to the learner in their place of work. Providing mentorship and coaching to the learner through to completion of their Early Years apprenticeship qualification.

Early Years Assessor: Essentials

  • At least 3 years experience as a Deputy Manager or higher in a Nursery setting (for unqualified assessor applicants)
  • UK driving license and use of own vehicle
  • Home Based - covering Brentwood and the surrounding area
  • A mixture of home working/remote and visiting learners in their place of work
