An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Training Centre Manager to lead a brand-new apprenticeship and technical training centre, delivering high-quality engineering and process industry apprenticeships in partnership with leading employers. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a new training provision, lead a team of trainers and play a key role in developing the next generation of technical talent.

The Role

  • You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the training centre, overseeing apprenticeship delivery, curriculum planning, employer engagement and quality assurance.
  • You’ll lead and develop the training team, ensure an outstanding learner experience and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with apprenticeship and regulatory requirements.

About You

  • A background in Engineering, Process Operations or a technical discipline.
  • Teaching, Assessor or IQA qualifications, along with experience in apprenticeship delivery or technical education.
  • Experience managing teams and working with employer stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, funding and compliance.
  • Experience planning and coordinating learning programmes.
  • A strong understanding of quality assurance and continuous improvement.
