I’m working with a high-growth semiconductor company developing advanced analog/mixed-signal and optical technologies used in next-generation connectivity systems. They’re building out their NPI/Product Engineering capability and are looking for 2 engineers, someone who wants to take real ownership across the full product lifecycle - not just sit in a single function.
The role is a genuinely end-to-end product engineering position, supporting new silicon from early concept through to high-volume production and beyond. They’ll be working closely with design, test, validation and operations teams, helping to shape how products are tested, characterised and ultimately manufactured at scale. It’s a strong opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond pure test or validation and develop into a well-rounded product engineer.
What they’ll be doing:
- Supporting new product introduction from concept through to production release
- Contributing to test strategy, DfT and ATE development
- Driving product characterisation across PVT and validating datasheet performance
- Analysing data to define test limits, improve yield and optimise test time
- Supporting manufacturing ramp, yield improvement and failure analysis
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure smooth transfer into production
What they’re looking for:
- Background in semiconductor engineering (product, test, validation or design)
- Understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs
- Experience or exposure to ATE and/or lab-based characterisation
- Strong data analysis mindset (Excel, JMP or similar)
- An interest in how products move from development into manufacturing
Why this role stands out:
- Full visibility across the product lifecycle - not siloed
- Strong technical mentorship and development into a true product owner
- Exposure to complex yield, test and manufacturing challenges
- Collaborative, high-performance engineering environment
- Opportunity to work on advanced semiconductor technologies with real-world impact
If they’re someone who enjoys understanding the whole system, not just their piece of it, this is the kind of role that can accelerate their career quickly.
