We are seeking fixed-term team members to work in a group harvesting broccoli for the 2026 Summer season. The fixed-term positions are from 3-6 months but preference will be given to those that can work for 6 months or longer. Start date is as soon as possible. Accommodation in a shared house may be available (limited spaces, so first in first served).
With broccoli harvesting you will be working outside in the paddock, cutting the broccoli, and placing it on conveyor to be graded. The broccoli is cut to size requirements, it is then graded and stacked. It is a very physically demanding job, working outside every day in all weathers, so please only apply if you think you can do that.
Roughly 45-50 hours a week with weekend work on a roster. $26 p/h with a performance bonus when harvest targets are reached. Training and PPE will be provided.
About You
- Be physically fit.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport to get to work (rural location with no public transport available).
- High attention to detail.
- A highly motivated individual with a positive attitude.
- Flexible - due to the nature of the industry you must be available to work extended hours and weekends when required.
- Have the right to work in New Zealand (appropriate work visa, residency etc).
