Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in the Bromsgrove area. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Social Media Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

Personality

We are looking for an ambitious, creative strategist to become the client’s first senior hire in their marketing division. This is a genuine ground-floor leadership opportunity - you will be stepping into a role that will grow and evolve around you as we scale the team over the next 6-12 months. This isn’t a corporate box-ticking role. This is a genuine opportunity to step up, lead, and build something.

Job Role:

  • Acting as the main point of contact between the CEO and marketing team, supporting strategy and decision-making through reporting and insights
  • Managing 35 personal brand clients end-to-end, including onboarding, content planning, execution and reporting
  • Leading client discovery sessions, content interviews, regular calls and quarterly business reviews
  • Planning and overseeing content shoots and campaigns across LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Writing and reviewing captions, copy and visual content using Canva, ensuring brand consistency and quality
  • Overseeing wider client accounts, providing feedback and quality control across all content
  • Setting team goals and KPIs, ensuring deadlines and performance standards are met
  • Supporting team development through feedback, performance reviews and clear processes
  • Analysing performance data, producing monthly/quarterly reports and identifying optimisation opportunities
  • Contributing to new business pitches and supporting improvements to agency systems and processes

Skills and experience:

  • Previous marketing agency experience essential
  • Confidence with: Canva, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, Instagram
  • Experience managing your own client roster
  • Ideally, experience in managing or mentoring someone
  • A natural leader who leads by example, not ego
  • Confident running client calls and presenting strategy
  • Someone who cares deeply about the quality of their work
  • Comfortable managing multiple clients without dropping the ball
