This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as Site Maintenance Operative on a full-time permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be practical, self-motivated, and able to work independently, taking ownership of a wide range of maintenance tasks, including painting, basic plastering, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building upkeep.
You will be proactive, adaptable, and committed to completing work to a high standard while supporting the wider business wherever needed.
Package and Benefits
- £29,000 - £31,000 with a £12 per day shift allowance
- Monday to Friday – 1:30pm – 10pm
- Pension
- 3% employer contribution, 4% employee contribution, 1% tax relief, pensions advisor to visit the site twice a year

- Holiday Entitlement
- 23 days holiday plus 8 statutory bank holidays.
After 3 years’ service this increases to 24 days plus BH and at 6 years’ service it increases again to a maximum of 25 days plus BH.
- After completing 6-month probationary period, all employees are entitled to up to 5 days unpaid annual leave in addition to their paid allowance.
This is pro-rata in the first part year, following probation.

Job Role
- Performing repairs to fixtures and fittings across the site as required
- Painting and decorating internal and external areas
- Installing appliances and equipment
- Assisting with the upkeep of yards and landscaped areas
- Disposing of waste in designated areas in line with site procedures
- Setting up meeting rooms and replenishing refreshments
- Supporting statutory inspections and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the site
- Providing support to other companies and sites within the group where required
- Assisting with the production of display materials to keep showrooms and trade stands up to date
- Driving company vehicles as required
- Providing additional support within the department where needed
Skills and experience
- Driving Licence essential
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical and decorating skills
- PAT testing qualification preferred
