Fire & Security Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing industry leader in installing and servicing all aspects of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting. There is an urgent requirement for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis, to support a number of projects currently underway across the Thames Valley area. Role Description

The Fire & Security Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining fire and security systems for clients. Day-to-day tasks include performing technical installations, conducting system tests, troubleshooting and repairing system malfunctions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Qualifications & Required Experience

• Previous experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer, or Electrical Engineer / Installation Technician, specifically in a fire or security systems installation role/company or related field
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A clean valid driving license
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in tight spaces
• Experience with installing and maintaining fire and security systems (including fire alarms), intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, fire extinguishers, gate automation or emergency lighting.
