An established main contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator to support tendering across commercial and residential projects up to £5m.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates from drawings, specifications and BOQs
- Analysing tender documents and identifying risks/opportunities
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Producing tender submissions and supporting documentation
- Liaising with pre‑construction and delivery teams during handover
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within a main contracting environment
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Competent with estimating software and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
