An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled multi trade to join a growing construction company which specialises in small to large scale fit-out and refurbishment projects across Berkshire, Surrey and the South East. This is a full time, permanent position with consistent work and career development prospects. The ideal candidate will be someone looking to progress their skills and knowledge, with training and leadership opportunities available.
Responsibilities
- Effectively undertake commercial building refurbishment projects
- Oversee and manage projects from start to finish
- Ensure quality control and safe working practices
- Read and interpret schematics and drawings
- Collaborate with contract managers and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Coordinate and schedule work crews and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
Qualifications
- Strong experience in carpentry and decorating preferred – other fabric trades such as plastering, tiling will also be considered
- Strip out works experience (preferred)
- Reliable with good time keeping
- Ability to undertake a wide variety of tasks
- Leadership potential / desire to become a Site Lead / Foreman
